Small-batch rafting at its finest. We intentionally keep these experiences small and intimate. By partnering with our sister company, Defiance Rafting Company, and the Red Mountain Yacht Club—the home of Defiance River Outfitters—we can escape the rush and enjoy the hush that smaller river trip experiences provide. We offer both Half-Day and Full-Day experiences daily from June through August.
Whether you’re looking to spend an afternoon cruising down the Lower Roaring Fork in a sixteen-foot paddle raft, getting the squad together for a day of stand-up paddleboarding from Grizzly Creek to South Canyon on the Colorado River, Defiance River Outfitter’s Roll & Go day rental program will get you and the crew geared up and on the river.

Red Mountain Yacht Club
Defiance River Outfitters offers day rentals and guided rafting experiences exclusively from the Red Mountain Yacht Club in West Glenwood Springs. Here, you'll find shaded picnic tables, restrooms, private changing rooms, snacks, and a selection of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages available for purchase. This makes RMYC your complete hub for summer enjoyment in Glenwood Springs. To maintain the Yacht Club's relaxed and intimate ambiance, Defiance's guided experiences are intentionally kept small.
